Evolution teases Disco Balls ahead of September launch

Evolution has unveiled details of Disco Balls, a new live casino game scheduled to launch on 9 September 2026.

The upcoming title combines ball-draw mechanics with a colourful disco theme and bonus gameplay that helped make Funky Time one of Evolution’s most popular live game shows. While players will need to wait until September to try it for themselves, the first details suggest Disco Balls could appeal to fans of both Funky Time and ball draw games such as Crazy Balls.

Funky Time bonus rounds return in a new format

Disco Balls is built around a numbered betting grid featuring numbers 1 to 20. Players place their bets before a series of balls are drawn from the machine.

As the round progresses, special Step Balls increase multiplier values while Result Balls determine the eventual winning number. Evolution says players will also see the Disco Cat randomly place multipliers and bonus symbols across the betting grid, creating additional payout opportunities before the final result is revealed.

The strongest connection to Funky Time comes through the bonus features. If a bonus number is drawn, players enter either the Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus game, both familiar to existing Funky Time players. During these rounds, Mr Funky moves across the dance floor collecting multipliers, with total rewards capable of reaching up to 10,000x.

A new addition to Evolution’s growing live game portfolio

Evolution has continued to expand beyond traditional live casino products in recent years, introducing increasingly interactive game show experiences alongside alternative formats such as ball draw games.

Disco Balls appears to combine elements from both approaches. The live ball machine creates anticipation throughout each draw, while the evolving multiplier system and bonus rounds add the entertainment-focused style that players associate with titles such as Funky Time.

The game is currently scheduled to launch on 9 September 2026, with more details expected to be revealed closer to release.

For CasinoTrackpot, Disco Balls will be one of the more interesting live casino releases to watch during the second half of 2026, particularly given its clear links to both Funky Time and Evolution’s expanding range of ball-draw games.
