Corrections Policy
At Casino Trackpot, we always aim to keep our play guides, reviews, game information and tracking data as accurate as possible and up to date. If you spot a mistake or error, please let us know so we can investigate and correct it. This policy covers all of our editorial content and the information displayed by our live casino trackers and live RTP tools.
How to Report an Error
Please contact us directly through our Contact page with:
- The URL of the page containing the error.
- A brief explanation of what you believe to be incorrect.
- Any other supporting information you have to back this up, such as game rules, provider documentation, a link or a screenshot.
For any specific tracker or statistics issues, please make sure that you include the game name, the date and time of the result, and, where possible, the time zone. This will help us to identify the relevant record.
How Quickly We Make Corrections
We aim to acknowledge any reported incidents to us within 1 working day and correct any basic and confirmed errors within 2 working days.
Issues involving the safety of players or misleading promotional terms will always receive priority action. If the reports are more complex, it may take us longer to make any amendments, especially if we need to check historical records or obtain confirmation from a provider or a supplier of the data.
Where further investigation is needed on our part, we will aim to keep the person who reported the issue informed with as many details as we can.
How We Check Reports
Casino Trackpot is an independent casino analytics and review publication operated by Alex Smith and Nigel Hall. We will always assess reported errors against any relevant evidence before making live changes to the website.
Depending on what the issue is, the process may include ammending official game rules, provider specifications, casino terms, licensing records, our own testing notes, remarks, or the underlying tracker data.
Advertising, sponsorships and affiliate relationships do not determine whether we investigate or correct an error.
How We Update Our Editorial Content
If we find any minor spelling mistakes, grammar or formatting errors, we will correct them without a separate notice.
When a correction materially changes a review, recommendation or the meaning of an article, we will add a correction note explaining what we have changed and when. Where applicable, we will also update any affected ratings or related pages.
We distinguish corrections from routine updates. For example, if a casino changes its bonus terms and requires an update, it doesn’t necessarily mean the original information was incorrect when it was initially published.
Tracker and Live RTP Corrections
Our tracking tools may, on occasion, display missing, delayed, duplicated or incorrect records. If an issue has been confirmed, we will aim to correct the affected data and recalculate any statistics that depend on it where it is possible.
For significant issues affecting the interpretation of results, we will always aim to place a notice on the relevant page explaining the affected period.
We do not invent any missing results or present estimates as verified records. If we cannot reliably establish any result, we will explain the limitation where it affects the information we have displayed on the site.
Observed RTP can change as we collect new results or the reporting window changes. A changing figure alone is not deemed evidence of an error, and historical results do not predict future outcomes.
If We Cannot Confirm an Error
If the available evidence presented to us does not establish that information is incorrect, we may leave it unchanged whilst explaining our results and findings to the person who reached out and contacted us.
You are welcome to provide further evidence if you wish or ask Alex Smith or Nigel Hall to review the matter again.
We always appreciate readers taking the time and effort to report issues and help improve CasinoTrackpot.
