Jackpot Tracker Methodology
CasinoTrackpot’s progressive jackpot network trackers show current jackpot amounts, confirmed wins and historical stats across supported jackpot networks and tiers.
We receive all jackpot data through third-party collection systems. CasinoTrackpot has developed the filtering and display tools used on our pages in-house and calculates the historical averages shown in our trackers through graphs and easy to understand charts.
This page explains what we track, how to interpret the figures we show, and the limitations of the data.
Our Jackpot Data Sources
Through the partnerships we have formed, third-party collection systems are in place and supply the jackpot information displayed on CasinoTrackpot.
The trackers cover supported progressive jackpot networks. The amounts shown within our trackers represent shared jackpot totals reported by those feeds, rather than a big prize pool belonging exclusively to CasinoTrackpot or any individual player.
Our role at CasinoTrackpot is to organise the supplied records, calculate all of the statistics and make the information accessible through our unique tracker pages.
We do not publish or feature the identities of our data suppliers and partnerships or the technical details of the collection systems that they use. This protects private and confidential commercial relationships while allowing us to explain to the visitors of our site what the displayed figures mean.
What We Track
Depending on the jackpot network and the information we are supplied with, our records include:
- The current jackpot amount.
- The jackpot tier.
- All confirmed jackpot wins and their recorded times.
- The amount at which a jackpot will reset.
- The average amount won per pot tier and the average time between wins.
Each jackpot tier should be considered separately. A frequently awarded lower tier should not be compared directly with a larger tier as though they share the same payout behaviour, as this is not the case.
Real-Time Updates
Current jackpot amounts and all new win information update in real time as the data reaches our site.
There is a possibility there could be a delay between a change in the jackpot network and its value shown on CasinoTrackpot. Any collection, transmission, processing and connection issues may affect how things are displayed on our platform.
The values displayed for each pot are the latest available recorded values. It should never be treated as a guaranteed prize amount at the moment any visitor to the site places a bet, because the overall prize for that jackpot tier may grow or have even been won before the next update is displayed live on the site.
How We Identify Jackpot Wins
All jackpot wins are confirmed by the supplied feed. We do not classify every decrease in a displayed amount as a win just because the value of that particular tier has fallen.
A confirmed jackpot win and the subsequent reset value are separate pieces of information. The win amount records the awarded jackpot, while the reset amount describes the starting seed value reported after the win has been credited to a player.
Where the feed provides this information, the tracker can distinguish a confirmed win from other changes in the displayed amount.
Our Historical Coverage
CasinoTrackpot began tracking progressive jackpot history on 12th March 2026.
References to “all-time”, “lifetime” or full history within our trackers refer to the available records collected since tracking began. They do not mean the entire operating history of a jackpot network.
Some individual networks or jackpot tiers may have shorter histories if they were added after our trackers started recording data or if their stats were unavailable for part of that period.
Where charts offer different time views, those filtered views allow users to examine sections of the available history. They do not extend the dataset to dates before CasinoTrackpot started collecting data
Average Jackpot Win Amount
CasinoTrackpot calculates the average win amount of each jackpot tier using the recorded jackpot awards included in the relevant dataset.
Average jackpot win = Total recorded win amounts ÷ Number of recorded wins
This describes the mean award for the relevant jackpot tier and reporting period. It is not an estimate of what the next winner will receive, so don’t use this information and data as a guarantee of when the next jackpot tier will be awarded.
A small number of wins or one unusually large award can have a substantial effect on the average. So, different reporting periods can therefore produce different averages for the same jackpot tier.
Average Time Between Wins
Average time between wins describes the mean elapsed time between successive recorded wins for the relevant jackpot tier displayed.
This graph/chart summarises historical intervals. It is not meant as a countdown, a scheduled payout time or a deadline by which the next highlighted jackpot must be won.
The time recorded since the latest win is a separate measurement. If that interval exceeds the historical average, it means only that the current wait is longer than the recorded average.
Interruptions may affect this statistic. If a win is missing from the available history dataset, the apparent interval between recorded wins may be longer than the actual interval.
Shared Jackpots and Currencies
Our progressive jackpot trackers display shared jackpot totals in currencies including pounds sterling, euros and dollars, as identified on the relevant page or tracker you are viewing.
Always read an amount alongside its currency label. Figures shown in different currencies should not be treated as directly comparable monetary values.
The amount available to a player may depend on the jackpot network, participating operator, game, currency and applicable rules. The tracker does not establish that every casino offers access to the same pool or displays an identical amount.
Before playing any jackpot that we track for real money, please check the jackpot information and eligibility requirements inside the game at the operator you intend to use.
Gaps and Data Limitations
If any of our feeds stop supplying information, there is a chance that a gap can appear in our jackpot coverage.
These gaps do not establish that the specific jackpot stopped growing or that no wins occurred during this time. It means that the corresponding information was not available for the tracker to record.
Missing or delayed records may affect the displayed history, win counts, average awards and average intervals. All of our statistics describe the records available to us rather than independently certifying the completeness of a jackpot network’s history.
Differences between the jackpot trackers shown on CasinoTrackpot and other tracker websites may reflect different update times, currencies, jackpot pools, reporting periods or available records.
What Jackpot History Can Tell You
Jackpot history allows players to examine the recorded growth, awards, resets and intervals between progressive jackpot wins.
It can never establish the exact time of the next progressive award or an individual player’s chance of winning a jackpot. A current value above its historical average is not, by itself, proof that a jackpot is about to pay.
Some progressive jackpot systems have specific rules, such as published trigger ranges or “must drop by” limits. Those are features of the jackpot’s rules and should always be checked separately; they cannot be inferred from a historical average.
Using Jackpot Trackers Responsibly
A larger progressive jackpot or a longer interval since the last recorded win should not be used as a reason to chase any losses, increase spending beyond a set budget or to keep playing longer than you have intended.
Historical statistics provide context about recorded progressive jackpot activity. They do not guarantee that a win is close or that playing a specific game will be favourable.
