William Hill Pays Out £1.8m Through Final One Standing
William Hill has revealed that its free-to-play Final One Standing game paid out more than £1.8 million during the 2025/26 Premier League season, following huge engagement across its debut campaign.
According to the operator, almost 590,000 unique players took part in the elimination-style game throughout the season, with a total of 31 separate leagues completed and jackpots ranging from £20,000 up to £500,000.
The concept behind Final One Standing is simple but increasingly difficult as rounds progress. Players select one Premier League team to win each gameweek, but the same team cannot be chosen twice during a competition. Correct picks move players into the next round, while incorrect predictions result in elimination.
William Hill confirmed that a combined £1,855,000 was paid out across the season, with the biggest individual wins coming from two £200,000 jackpot leagues won outright by single players.
The first £500,000 Final One Standing competition attracted more than 292,000 entrants alone, eventually ending with seven winners splitting the jackpot equally.

World Cup Edition Already Drawing Huge Interest
Following the success of the Premier League version, William Hill has now launched a World Cup edition of Final One Standing featuring a £250,000 jackpot.
The operator says more than 86,000 players have already entered ahead of the tournament, with Brazil currently proving the most popular opening-round selection among players.
For CasinoTrackpot readers, the success of Final One Standing highlights how free-to-play jackpot and prediction-style games continue becoming a major engagement tool for operators around major sporting events.
As football tournaments increasingly drive player traffic across betting and gaming platforms, promotional formats built around large prize pools and season-long progression mechanics are becoming a bigger part of the industry’s acquisition strategy.
