Playson Secures PAGCOR Approval for Philippines Expansion
Playson has secured approval from PAGCOR to distribute its games in the regulated Philippine market, marking another major step in the supplier’s international expansion.
The approval allows Playson’s content to be made available to licensed operators in the Philippines through its aggregation partner Light & Wonder, strengthening the supplier’s position across Asia’s growing regulated gambling sector.
According to the companies involved, the market-entry process was completed within days thanks to coordinated work between compliance, architecture and integration teams. Playson also confirmed that its existing platform infrastructure already met the required technical specifications for the market.
The Philippines continues to be one of the most important online gaming regions in Asia, with regulated growth attracting an increasing number of suppliers looking to expand their international reach.
Ben Wood, Chief Commercial Officer at Playson, said: “Securing PAGCOR approval is an important step in Playson’s continued regulated-market growth. The Philippines represents an exciting opportunity for the business.”
