IWG Launches Must Go Jackpots With Kentucky Lottery
Instant Win Gaming has launched its new Must Go Jackpots program with the Kentucky Lottery, introducing a progressive eInstant jackpot format where the prize is guaranteed to be won within a 24-hour cycle.
The launch makes the Kentucky Lottery the first lottery to offer Must Go Jackpots, giving players a timed jackpot experience built around a visible countdown, a growing prize pool and a guaranteed daily winner.

How Must Go Jackpots Works
‘Must Go Jackpots’ is designed around a simple but effective mechanic. The prize pool grows through eInstant game sales, while an in-game timer shows how long remains before the jackpot must be awarded.
Once the jackpot is won, the prize pool and timer reset, creating a repeating cycle where players can follow the build-up toward the next guaranteed payout. The format is different from a standard progressive jackpot because the prize does not simply wait for a random trigger indefinitely. Instead, the 24-hour timer gives the game a clear endpoint and a guaranteed winner window.
That timed structure is also what makes the format interesting from a tracking perspective. At CasinoTrackpot, we already follow progressive jackpots, prize movement and live jackpot-style game data through our Jackpot Tracker, and Must Go Jackpots shows how more suppliers are experimenting with countdown-led mechanics that make jackpot games easier for players to follow.
IWG says the new jackpot programme is powered by its InstantRGS remote game server, allowing lotteries to deploy the format without needing extra development support from their iLottery platform provider.
Jason Lisiecki, Executive Vice President at IWG, said Must Go Jackpots is part of the company’s ongoing effort to evolve the eInstant jackpot category, adding that the guaranteed 24-hour cycle creates frequent anticipation and memorable winning moments for players.
Matt Nichols, VP of Product at Kentucky Lottery, said the launch has already generated strong excitement, giving players a new jackpot experience with frequent guaranteed prize moments.
For lotteries, the appeal is obvious. ‘Must Go’ jackpots add urgency without needing to rely only on huge long-term progressive prizes. For players, the timer creates a clearer sense of momentum, because the jackpot has to drop before the cycle ends.
It is not a casino jackpot in the traditional sense, but it points in the same direction as many modern digital jackpot products: more visibility, more countdown mechanics and more frequent prize events designed to keep players engaged.
