Casinotrackpot & Bullshark Games – Q&A
We are delighted to be joined by Spokesperson Andre Villandberg, Founder & CEO of Bullshark Games, today, as we get to learn more about this iGaming studio, what makes them tick, and what’s in store in the future.

- First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to talk to us, Andre. Let’s kick off the interview with an introduction! Tell us who Bullshark Games is, why you founded the studio, and what you hope to achieve long-term.
Bullshark Games was founded with a clear mission: to create slot games that we, as players, would actually want to play. Coming from a background that includes both the operator and player side, I saw a gap between what games promised and how they actually felt. Our long-term goal is to keep closing that gap, building slots with strong emotional hooks, progression, and mechanics that reward both short sessions and deeper engagement. Success for us means earning player trust and being known as a studio that consistently delivers exciting, well-designed games without cutting corners.
- Do you have a specific philosophy when it comes to online slot design, and is there a certain type of slot you lean towards when creating something new?
We believe every game should have a clear gameplay identity. Whether it’s built around progression, collection mechanics, or unique volatility curves, the key is making sure the game feels good to play. We don’t lean toward a single type of slot, we’ve made everything from classic formats to cluster pays, but we always try to include at least one mechanic or feature that pushes things forward. Games need to earn players’ attention, not just borrow it.
- Which slot in your portfolio are you most proud of to date, and why?
Age of Seth is definitely the one we’re most proud of. It brings together all the core elements we care about: a strong theme, clearly communicated progression, and volatility that builds into something exciting. It’s also a game where every part, from the visuals to the collection mechanic, supports the same emotional arc. Players really connected with it, and it’s helped define what “a Bullshark game” means.

- Can you tell us about your latest release Godly Gains, what makes this slot special?
Godly Gains is all about explosive momentum and progressive buildup. It’s a cluster pays game where a global multiplier increases over time, and special booster symbols can unlock more wilds as the round progresses. This combination gives the game a real sense of escalation, keeping players engaged while building toward those big, satisfying hits. It’s a fresh spin on a popular theme, blending a familiar visual style with mechanics that keep the action moving and the rewards building.
- How important is it that every new slot has a strong and engaging theme, or can slots survive and prosper on features and mechanics alone?
Strong features are essential, but without a cohesive theme, the game doesn’t stick. A great theme isn’t just about artwork, it’s about how the whole experience feels. If the mechanics echo the emotional tone of the game, you get deeper engagement. Players might come for the features, but they stay for the feeling. So, in our view, the two should always go hand in hand.
- What’s the story behind your upcoming release Bullride Loot? We’d love an exclusive look into the tale behind this game?
With Bullride Loot, we knew we wanted to create a buffalo-themed slot, but in a way that felt uniquely “us.” So instead of going down the traditional path, we gave our buffalo a new identity: a truck-driving road warrior tearing down the highway. The game blends wide-open Americana with a gritty, fast-paced attitude, pairing classic slot energy with just enough chaos to keep things interesting. It’s not your typical wildlife slot, and that’s exactly the point.
- Do you have any plans for a jackpot slot in the future?
It’s something we’re exploring, but we want to approach it on our own terms. We’re not interested in just adding a jackpot feature because it’s trending, if we do it, it’ll be part of a system that adds to the overall experience. The goal is to make it feel earned and exciting, not just bolted on.
- We’re preparing to usher in a brand-new year, from what we can see 2025 was fantastic for the studio. What does 2026 look like for Bullshark Games?
2025 was a big growth year for us, but we see 2026 as the year where we take things up a notch creatively. We’ve got some very different game formats in the pipeline, one plays with progression in a more layered way, another has a unique layout we haven’t tackled before, and others build on what’s already working for us. We’re also refining some of our strongest systems and looking at ways to get more value out of what players already love. It’s going to be a fun year.
