Fortune Roulette live stream, playing guide & Strategies
Fortune Roulette is Pragmatic Play’s twist on the classic roulette experience, combining traditional casino fun with some pretty unique game-show-styled bonuses and features, and even a slot machine-inspired mechanic! Launched in early 2025, this live dealer game follows in the footsteps of popular multiplier roulette titles, but it doesn’t just copy titles like Evolution’s Lightning Roulette; instead, it adds its own unique twist!
At its core, Fortune Roulette uses a standard single-zero European Roulette wheel and all the familiar betting options, so experienced roulette players will feel right at home. However, every spin in Fortune Roulette comes with extras like random fortune multipliers that can boost total payouts by up to 540x, and there’s also a highly unique Chest feature that can add up all multipliers in view!
In this review, we’re going to show you everything you need to know about Fortune Roulette. This will include a look at how to play, how the bonuses and features work, and strategies!
Gameplay & Features
Fortune Roulette’s gameplay is an exciting mix of classic roulette and innovative bonus features, and while, at first glance, you’ll see a standard European roulette layout, with 37 pockets, there’s a lot more going on beneath the surface!
Each round can have three special bonus effects, the first of which is Fortune Multipliers. After the betting round closes, up to six random “fortune numbers” are selected and given multiplier values. These multipliers range anywhere from as low as 50x to up to 540x, and if the ball lands on one of these lucky numbers and you’ve bet on it, your win gets multiplied accordingly (more on how this works for different bet types later!).
Next, there’s the Chest feature. One individual number each round is assigned randomly with a little treasure chest icon, and this is basically the game’s “jackpot trigger”. If the ball lands on the Chest number, this unique bonus round is triggered, again, details of which we’ll cover later in this review.
Finally, Fortune Roulette includes a special bonus game, triggered when the ball lands on a designated bonus number (one number is randomly chosen for each spin). If the bonus triggers, the roulette action pauses, and players who covered that winning bonus number get to enter a slot-style bonus round.
Interface & User Experience
Pragmatic Play has done a good job in the presentation department, and Fortune Roulette’s interface and studio are designed to be both visually impressive and user-friendly, something that we’ve noticed Pragmatic Play has gotten a lot better with in recent years.
The game is hosted in a stylish, purpose-built studio that fits the “fortune” theme, and there’s quite a luxurious vibe given off; it looks very much as we’d have expected to see for a game set around big wins and lucky fortunes!
However, despite all the bells and whistles, the user interface remains intuitive and familiar, and you’ll find the main betting grid appearing as the standard roulette table layout you know and love. Placing bets is effortless, and you just need to tap or click the section of the table you want to bet on, choose which chip denomination you want, and you’re all set!
Of course, the game is also fully mobile optimised, which allows you to enjoy all of the action from your mobile device, no matter where you’re playing from! The video feed renders in crisp HD, although be aware that on slower connections, Pragmatic Play may deliver you a slightly less optimised version of the game to avoid buffering or stuttering.
How to Play Fortune Roulette
Playing Fortune Roulette is straightforward, especially if you’re familiar with standard roulette. The game plays in quick rounds with a live dealer spinning a real wheel, but adds in multipliers and special features to make things more interesting! Here’s a brief rundown of how it works and how to begin playing:
1. Place Your Bets:
At the start of each round, you’ll have a short window to place chips on the layout. All the usual roulette wagers are available, including inside bets like straight-ups, splits, street bets and corner bets, along with outside wagers like red/black or odd/even. However, be aware that only inside bets can benefit from the Fortune multipliers and features.
2. Wheel Spin & Fortune Reveal:
Once betting closes, the dealer launches the ball. As the wheel spins, the Fortune feature kicks in, and this chooses up to six random numbers on the wheel, which receive visible multipliers of between 50x and 540x. One number can also show a Chest symbol, and another, a bonus symbol.
3. Result & Payouts:
When the ball stops, the winning numbered pocket is compared to the Fortune features for that round. If it’s a regular number, payouts follow the adjusted roulette table, with straight-up numbers paying just 23:1. If it’s a multiplier number, your win is boosted according to the displayed value, and if it’s the Chest or Bonus, the relevant features trigger, details of which we’ll cover shortly.
4. New Round:
After payouts are settled, winnings are credited instantly, and a new betting phase begins. Each round is independent, with fresh multipliers and symbols, so there’s no way of knowing what the next spin will bring!
Bonus Rounds Explained
One of the biggest appeals of Fortune Roulette is the special bonuses and features: Fortune Multipliers, the Chest, and the Bonus Game. These features are what give the game its huge win potential and set it apart from regular roulette. Let’s take a closer look at how each one works:
Fortune Multipliers
The multipliers are the core feature of Fortune Roulette, and they’re active on every single spin. After bets close, between 1 and 6 numbers on the wheel are randomly selected to carry multipliers, and these can be worth anywhere from 50x to 540x. If the ball lands on one of these numbers, inside bets on it are paid with the boosted value.
For example, a straight-up bet on 12 with a 200x multiplier would return 200x instead of the base 23:1. Other inside bets like splits, streets, or corners still qualify, but they receive a proportional share: half for a split, and a quarter for a corner, etc.
Chest Feature
The Chest is essentially the game’s jackpot-style mechanic. Each round, one number can (but isn’t always) marked with a small chest icon. If that number wins, all the multipliers revealed that round are added together and awarded as a single payout.
So, if multipliers of 100x, 200x, and 50x were active and the ball landed on the Chest number, it would pay 350x on a straight-up number bet if it won. At its maximum, the Chest can reach 3,240x if six numbers each carry the top 540x multiplier and are selected. Of course, that’s going to be insanely rare, but it’s nice to know it’s possible, at least!
Bonus Game
The bonus round is Fortune Roulette’s most interactive feature. One bonus game number each round can be marked with an icon. If the ball lands there, all bets on it trigger a slot-style mini-game with free spins and multipliers!
The bonus slot has 5 reels and 3 rows, and you’ll initially begin the bonus round with five free spins. Multiplier symbols add to your total, while chest symbols fill a meter, and hitting thresholds of 3, 6, and 9 chests awards extra spins and boosts your total win multiplier (2x, 5x, and 10x, respectively).
Once the bonus round finishes, the total that you managed to accumulate throughout the round is added to your original bet. It’s possible for the bonus round to pay up to 9,000x!
Fortune Roulette Payouts, Probabilities & RTP
Fortune Roulette contains multipliers, and, as a result, Pragmatic Play has had to make some adjustments to the pay table. This is pretty common to see in any live dealer game that offers multipliers, and you’ll notice that the payouts for the inside bets have been adjusted a bit. We’ll show you the payouts and RTPs of the game below:
| Bet | Payout | RTP |
| Straight-Up | 23 – (539:1) 8999:1 | 95.07% – 97.30% |
| Split | 11 – (269:1) 4499:1 | 95.07% – 97.30% |
| Street | 7 – (179:1) 2999:1 | 95.07% – 97.30% |
| Corner | 5 – (134:1) 2249:1 | 95.07% – 97.30% |
| 6 Line | 3 – (89:1) 1499:1 | 95.07% – 97.30% |
| Dozen/Column | 2:1 | 97.30% |
| Red/Black | 1:1 | 97.30% |
| Odds/Even | 1:1 | 97.30% |
| Low/High | 1:1 | 97.30% |
As you can see, there are some changes, including:
- Straight-Up (single number) – Pays 23:1 by default (instead of 35:1).
- Split Bet (2 numbers) – Pays 11:1 base (instead of 17:1).
- Street (3 numbers) – Pays 7:1 base (instead of 11:1).
- Corner (4 numbers) – Pays 5:1 base (instead of 8:1).
- Six-Line (6 numbers) – Pays 3:1 base (instead of 5:1).
Fortune Roulette Live Streaming Quality
Fortune Roulette is streamed in full HD from the Pragmatic Play live games studios, and the production quality is excellent across both desktop and mobile. The wheel, betting layout, and multiplier graphics are crisp and easy to read without feeling cluttered, and we like how, if you are using a mobile device, you’ll still be able to access all bet options and game settings, but with a slightly reduced visual layout.
You’ll enjoy multiple camera angles when you play, from wide shots of the studio to close-ups of the ball as it drops, and this gives you a clear view and allows you to see exactly what’s going on at all times. Plus, when a multiplier or bonus round is triggered, there are really slick transitions.
The audio is also clear and well-balanced. You’ll hear the host clearly announcing results, and we like how they genuinely get excited when large multipliers land or when the Chest or Bonus features trigger. Overall, it’s a brilliant game from Pragmatic Play in terms of presentation and quality, we feel!
Fortune Roulette Playing Strategies
While no roulette system can beat the odds long-term, Fortune Roulette’s unique multipliers, Chest, and Bonus rounds do allow you to approach the game in different ways. Sure, there are no strategies to actually reduce the house edge, but you can shape how volatile your sessions feel and how likely you are to trigger the game’s bonuses and features!
Here’s a look at a few strategies you can consider using when you play Fortune Roulette.
Straight-Up Bets Only
This strategy involves you covering straight-up numbers only, and nothing else. As a general rule of thumb, think of between six and 12 numbers per spin, with an even stake on each. By using this method, you’re maximising your exposure to the Fortune Multipliers while avoiding covering too many numbers that ensure a loss each spin.
Numbers + Even-Money Hedge
This strategy involves combining inside numbers with a small hedge on an even-money outside (red/black, odd/even). A simple split, like around 70% of your total stake on straight-ups (spread over 6–10 numbers) and around 30% on one even-money bet, works well. The outside chip won’t ever get a multiplier, and it’s only really there to lower the variance and buy you more spins while you go hunting the big wins on the straight-up numbers!
Inside Betting
Our third strategy, inside betting, relies on the fact that Fortune Roulette offers the multiplier wins on all inside bets, allowing you to shape your coverage without needing to go all-in on the full board. So, here, instead of covering 15 or more numbers, you simply choose a defined section of the wheel: Tiers, Orphelins, or Voisins.
By betting straight-ups or splits across one of those sections, you give yourself consistent exposure without spreading too thin. The beauty here is that every number is eligible for multipliers, so you can, if you want, add in some splits or corners, too, to bump up certain numbers.
Fortune Roulette Live Casino Game Stats Tracking
Fortune Roulette, like all live dealer games, is completely random. There’s not even a random number generator here (aside from when it comes to the multipliers and bonus rounds), as the results come from a real wheel and ball, both of which are tested and certified for fairness. Now, while Pragmatic Play does offer some in-game statistics, they’re generally quite basic, and that’s why many players look to third-party statistic tracking tools.
Why would you want to use an external stats tracker? Well, it’s simple: while the odds never change between spins, some players do like to find patterns in the data. Tracking the game’s results won’t affect the house edge, but it can help you to make more informed choices about which bets you play or how much you cover certain numbers.
Why Do Players Check Previous Fortune Roulette Game Results?
For many, it comes down to curiosity. Some punters want to know if a certain number has been “running hot” lately, while others look for numbers that haven’t landed in a while and assume they’re “due”. Now, of course, neither is (or can be) true in a mathematical sense, as every spin is independent, but that doesn’t stop players from finding some level of comfort in the data!
In Fortune Roulette, for example, stats can also show how often multipliers have appeared, when the last Chest or Bonus round was triggered, and what the biggest multipliers of the session have been.
Sure, it won’t change the probabilities, but it can be useful for getting an idea of the game’s recent volatility. And, for example, if no feature has landed for a long time, it may also incentivise some players into wagering slightly larger amounts of money than they would do otherwise.
Are There Any Benefits To Using a Fortune Roulette Stat Tracker?
That really depends on what you want out of them. Stat trackers won’t give you an edge, as this is not possible in any casino game. However, they can help to make your gambling experience more entertaining, and it can be quite fun to follow along with.
Just remember: the wheel’s previous results don’t have any impact on future spins. Even if your favourite number hasn’t landed for 200 spins, the odds of it landing on the next spin remain the same as all other numbers on the roulette wheel.
What Does a Fortune Roulette Tracker Tell You?
Fortune Roulette trackers can reveal some interesting information – including:
- Which number sequences have been hitting (and how often)
- How frequently multipliers have appeared, and at what values
- When the Chest feature last triggered
- The most recent Bonus rounds and their final multipliers bonus
- The biggest single multiplier win of the session
Pros & Cons Of Fortune Roulette
Pros
- Up to six active multipliers on every spin
- Unique Chest feature that combines all multipliers
- Exciting slot machine-style bonus round where big wins can be collected

Conclusion & Verdict
Fortune Roulette delivers a fresh spin (pun intended) on one of the most popular and well-known casino games in the world. Pragmatic Play has done a superb job, and while many players were critical pre-release, saying it would just be a rip-off of Evolution’s Lightning Roulette, Pragmatic showed they did anything but clone it.
Like all of their live dealer games, Fortune Roulette looks superb, and the production quality is fantastic. We love how there’s so much going on, too, whether it’s the multipliers, the Chest bonus, or the main slots-like feature. Of course, the main multipliers go up to 540x, too, which is actually slightly higher than the 500x found in Lightning Roulette, although this is balanced out by the 23:1 straight-up number payouts.
